hunt down barbarians

This movie is very self-contained, the story is presented in chapters, and it also pays homage to some movies, although I can only feel Braveheart, First Blood and Lord of the Rings, and then driving away at the end is a bit crazy. ? = = I don't know anything else. . . Also, the whole thing is very strange. When I saw a little boy as the protagonist, I thought it was a children's film, but swear words and some stalks were all over the screen; I thought it was a heavy adventure film, but there were also many tender moments. The whole adventure process is the feeling of one old and one young arguing with each other and relying on each other for life. Xiaopang's performance is very sincere and slightly joyful. Some dialogues, lines and physical performance are really funny, quite special~

Hunt for the Wilderpeople quotes

  • Hec: Pretty majestical, aye?

    Ricky Baker: I don't think that's a word.

    Hec: Majestical? Sure it is.

Ricky Baker: Nah, it's not real.

    Hec: What would you know?

    Ricky Baker: It's majestic.

Hec: That doesn't sound very special, majestical's way better.

  • Ricky Baker: That's not very fair. Some people can't even have babies, and the ones who can, they don't even want them.
