So Hansel underwent sex reassignment surgery. Never thought the surgery would fail. So Hansel becomes a creature that is neither male nor female. But he finally put on a hair cap and became a "woman" Hedwig, and followed Luther to the land of Junction City, Kansas, USA, but was abandoned soon after, alone, in a foreign country, and without support. After changing his name to Hedwig, Hansel formed a rock band called "the Angry Inch".
