Recently, I accidentally watched a good movie, which is the zombie movie "Daughter of God".
This is indeed a movie that brings new ideas to horror movies, and it should be highly rated.
Here are some spoilers:
Starting from the movie, let me talk about my own feelings. At the beginning of the film, the director divided the position. Soldiers know the origin of children, so in the play, children are called "it", and the little heroine agrees with her position as a human being. Why? Because from the beginning, the little heroine didn't know that she was fundamentally different from humans. This can be seen from her being kind to others, constantly absorbing knowledge, accepting and agreeing with human myths and stories, and protecting the fellow human beings on the way to escape. In the base, there is a plot where the mother of the mother asked the new generation of zombie children to write a story. In the story of the little heroine, she said that she killed the devil to protect the heroine, did not eat the flesh of the devil, and lived happily with the hero. This paragraph directly reflects the heart of the little heroine. She hopes to protect humans. Although she is different from humans, she hopes to defeat zombies and let humans accept her.
From the beginning of the escape, the position of the little heroine slowly began to shake, and the last straw that broke the camel was that the female scientist wanted to dissect her as an antidote. The previous Cenozoic groups, the spore trees, were all foreshadowing. From the perspective of humanity, the escape team has always been entangled in their own position, and only Teacher Notre Dame has always insisted on accepting the little heroine. The position of the two soldiers changes as the movie progresses, and it is obvious that the sergeant's disgust from the beginning to the dying scene (I forgot my lines). The position of the little heroine also changes with the death of the two soldiers one by one.
The little heroine has encountered humans since she was born, and naturally thinks she is a human. The inhuman treatment in the base, she thinks is normal, because she is a blank sheet of paper, we the audience know the difference. This is as if there are cats and dogs in reality who mistakenly recognize poultry as their biological parents at the beginning of their birth, and behave the same as poultry. So I think the female scientist's emotional intelligence is really a negative number. Her excessive rational treatment of the little heroine, including explaining her background to her, and insisting on anatomy are all boosters to push the little heroine into the new generation of zombies.
