Whenever I try to communicate love disappears

These two pictures are really beautiful black and white silhouettes

I feel like I am saying that I have a deep sympathy with the person who meets the eye at first sight, and I will gradually find that I start to hate him or am I only suitable for a one-week relationship? sad

I don't quite understand the woman who talks to the male protagonist. What role does she have in this movie?

I think the heroine's temperament is really beautiful. I didn't expect the hero and the second girl to fall in love at first sight? I can't understand that the derailment happened so quickly. Maybe it's because there is no love with the heroine. There is only marriage.

The ending is so sad

The second part of Antonioni's "Modern Love" trilogy, the theme is still communication barriers and spiritual emptiness. Although the film is weak in storytelling, it is as soothing as prose, but it does not feel as long as "Adventures" after reading it. The combination of Jeanne Moreau and Marcelo Mastroianni is visually reassuring to be the strongest cast of any of Antonioni's films. The jazz-style soundtrack of the film is also very good.

"Night" is the opposite of our forward trajectory. She will take off your boring mask, the gorgeous clothes you wear, and pretend to be strong and false. She will tease every inch of your nerves and ease your cramped atrium. Simply, you are presumptuous and perverse. Because you don't know whether there will be the sun tomorrow, and even if there is, you don't know if you can open your eyes to face another round of daylight.

La Notte quotes

  • Giovanni: I've been selfish. It's strange to realize only now that what we give to others comes back to us.

  • Mr. Gherardini: It's what you say that counts, not your intention.
