I recently revisited the movie "The Willows and Flowers". It tells about an old couple, Grant and Fiona, who have retired and lived by a beautiful lake on the outskirts of the city. Their husbands are witty and humorous, and their wives are elegant and noble. Although they have no children, they have lived with each other for forty-four years. If nothing else, he should be with him until the day he is called by God. But the story took a turn one winter morning when it snowed heavily and Fiona used to get up early. She went out alone to enjoy the snow along the trail she used to walk, but she didn't come home until dark. Grant worried that something had happened to her, and searched everywhere. When he found his wife, he found her sitting on the side of the road, shivering from the cold. It turned out that Fiona had somehow forgotten the way home and had to wait for Grant to come to her. Soon, Fiona's memory was getting worse and worse. She would often forget the names of some frequently used objects, and she would not remember where the things she had just used were left. At first Grant joked about his wife's forgetfulness, but finally one day, when Fiona put the freshly cleaned pan back on the stove to bake, the old man lost his old sense of humor. While her self-consciousness was still intact, Fiona insisted on moving into a nursing home dedicated to Alzheimer's patients. Grant visited her every day, the first to arrive and the last to leave. Every time he went he would bring a bouquet of flowers and sit in a quiet corner watching Fiona go through her day. He knows the final outcome. After just a few short months, Fiona was completely unrecognizable from him. Although sad, Grant insisted on visiting his wife every day, but one day he found out that Fiona had feelings for another patient living in the nursing home, and he was completely heartbroken. Grant, after thinking long and painfully hard, finally decided to respect Fiona's choice, as long as she was happy. That day, when the old man visited Fiona's room for the last time, he pushed open the false door and saw that she was sitting with her back to a chair on the balcony. In the autumn morning, the golden sun shines on the gray hair of the lover, forming a hazy halo. She heard movement behind her and turned around. Just like in his thousands of memories, he smiled, got up gracefully, and hugged him. At that moment, he saw a familiar look in his wife's eyes. He heard her mumbling: "Honey, please don't leave me, don't leave me". The old man cried. The saddest thing in life is to write off the past. As the memories became increasingly blurred, his voice and smile gradually faded, and one day he suddenly remembered that no matter how desperately he searched in his mind, he couldn't catch a trace. I can only sigh, hold my hand, grow old with my son, it turns out to be just a fairy tale. "If life is only as first seen, what is the west wind sad painting fan". The beauty of sadness, who said that it can be frozen in memory, only that sadness will remain in my heart forever. Maybe one day, I will accidentally forget someone. Maybe forgetting is the best ending. Some things, even knowing that they are wrong, have to insist because they are not reconciled. Some people, knowing that they are in love, can only give up because there is no ending. Sometimes, I know there is no way out, but I still have to go because I am used to it. Alas, forget it, forget it, the future lives in the heart, if the heart is to die, the future is already withering. Let the past go with the wind, because yesterday was all a dream.
