christmas tradition

The significance of this story for the formation of Christmas pop culture at that time was far greater than its own connotation, so it seems a little tasteless now, and it is too preachy. Dickens' novels "Oliver Twist", "A Tale of Two Cities" and "David Copperfield" are better than this. The film is good (why write these three, because I have only read these three novels).
In the Disney animation version in 2009, there were a lot of big names, and they used 3D + expression capture. When Uncle Face appeared, you could recognize it at once. It was quite fun. However, this 3D modeling method is very scary, it is the dark London in the 19th century Dickens novel, but not Disney. Disney didn't use it again after that.
I always feel that "A Christmas Carol" should be on TV before Christmas, and the old BBC version feels more like it.
