In the story, Kaguya, who descended from the Moon Palace, was adopted by her grandpa and grandma and grew up freely and happily in the mountains. Grandpa moved to Kyoto after gaining unexpected wealth, and had the right to cultivate Kaguya into the most honorable princess, but Kaguya lost her former happiness. Finally, Kaguya unintentionally sent a message to Tsukigiya that she wanted to go back when she was oppressed, but it was not until the messenger from Tsukigiya brought her back that Kaguya understood how much she missed this lovely world. There are two core words in the play. One is the "Heaven and Earth, please accept me" that Kaguya and Big Brother Shemaru shouted when they traveled the world hand in hand. The other is Kaguya's rebuttal of the Moon Palace messenger saying, "There is no filth here at all! Whether joy or sorrow, all creatures on this land exude brilliance, grass, insects, fish, birds, trees, flowers, and human touch."

Obviously, the story The core idea is to tell people that the true happiness of life lies in the unrestrained running of the world and the endless experience of flowers blooming and falling, rather than being bound by external things such as fame and fortune. However, the reason why Kaguyukihime lost her former happiness in the key plot did not clearly explain the main point. On the contrary, it is easy for people to think that this tragedy came from the feudal system's oppression of people, especially women. However, folklore stories have always been lighter than story logic and more important than story charm. And this movie does a very good job in the latter, it can be said that the flaws do not hide the flaws.

Finally, let's take a look at the highlights of the movie: the five nobles are very happy to draw, the part of traveling around the world is very beautiful, the scene of the final parting is very touching, and the theme song is good. Finally, look at the overall performance of the oriental cultural charm, four stars.

  • The Princess Kaguya: [singing] Go round, come round, come round... come round, oh distant time. Come round, call back my heart. Come round, call back my heart. Birds, bugs, beasts, grass, trees, flowers. Teach me how to feel. If i hear that you pine for me, i will return to you.
