A little thought about the law derived from movies

As a law student, after watching this film, while I feel that justice finally defeats evil, I also reflect on how to treat the law as a possible legal person in the future! We always know that the law is the embodiment of justice. Except for the downright evil law, no one will overly doubt the authority of the law, and no one dares to trample the dignity of the law easily. However, as ordinary people in the market, when they encounter bad users of the law and corrupt officials and profiteers, sometimes they can only suffer from dumb losses. Without access to the judicial process, many dark sides of human nature cannot be discovered, which is why more and more people are now aware of the importance of litigation.
However, we have chosen the path of litigation, and in some cases we cannot be accepted by the court. Perhaps it is because the relevant requirements of the lawsuit have not been met, perhaps it is the private obstruction of the powerful, or it may be... But, without the ultimate way of litigation, how will our rights be guaranteed?
After entering the proceedings? Civil lawsuits can take a really long time, and sometimes evidence collection is difficult. For various reasons, it is not so easy for the people at the bottom to defeat the "evil" at the top. Maybe the right time and place and people can achieve the desired effect! Of course, neither positive contingency nor negative contingency can be used as a reason to cover our eyes, not to do something because there is no 100% certainty, but precisely because there is no 100% possibility, so should do it!
The young lawyer in the movie decided to leave the industry after handling this case. In addition to the prejudgment that it is difficult to surpass this miracle (please allow me to call it a miracle), it is more about the industry as he understands it. Full of good feelings! Perhaps, this is also the voice of many young lawyers! Whether to follow the trend or stick to it, this choice is indeed clearly placed in front of the young lawyer. Maybe one day, I will also encounter a similar situation, I am not sure what choice I will make, but I always hope to see the core definition of law in Western legal thought - justice, can not be late!

The court debate is very exciting, the plot is very compact, and it is the subject of lawyer ethics. If I read the original English version, I may give five stars

    The long-lost "justice".

The Rainmaker quotes

  • Rudy Baylor: My dad hated lawyers. You might think I became one just to piss him off, but you'd be wrong. Did piss him off so much though that when he heard he fell off a ladder and didn't know who to sue first.

  • Rudy Baylor: What's the difference between a lawyer and a hooker? A hooker'll stop screwing you when you're dead.
