The first is the emotions of the characters in the play. One is the relationship between Uncle Hai and Ah Lang, the second is the relationship between Yuan Haoyun and his friends, and the third is the relationship between Ah Lang and the only team leader who knows his identity. When Ah Lang had to kill Uncle Hai in order to enter the deeper arms group, the conversation between the two people sublimated their feelings. When Ah Lang killed Uncle Hai, the tears in his eyes and the smile when he turned to face Huang Qiusheng, he grasped it very well. Let people have a deeper view of Tony Leung's acting skills. When Yuan destroyed the scene that Ah Lang had already controlled, the two confronted each other. Yuan's facial expressions and Ah Lang's expressions are well portrayed in the movie.
Second, the effect of the gunfight is fascinating. Woo Yusen's pursuit of violent beauty makes the audience visually satisfied. That is, there are rarely such exciting shootouts after this drama.
The third is the arrangement of the ending. I always thought it was Tony Leung Chiu-wai to commemorate the sacrifice of Ah Lang. Later, after reading another person's comment, I suddenly realized that it was Ah Lang who did not die but went to the northern hemisphere where he had always dreamed of going.
