The collapse of hearts and beliefs after the war

Having watched "The Nuremberg Trial", I always thought that "Twelve Angry Men" was a very wonderful indoor drama, and it was also an evenly divided group drama. After watching "The Nuremberg Trial", although the group play in one room occupies the core of the film, there are still many other open space plays, which cannot be regarded as indoor plays.
But it's really wonderful, but compared with "Twelve Angry Men", it contains more complex themes and is relatively more complex, and its elite perspective will make some audiences unable to understand this movie very well. In other words, Twelve Angry Men is easier to understand.
The two films actually address the same issue: justice. "Nuremberg Trials" is about political and national tug-of-war and bullshit, and it is a faithful reflection of the chaos of people's hearts and the collapse of beliefs after the war. People doubt many established facts and honors, because the war has overturned everything, and the war has just ended. Its remnants are still raging...
Any piece of history is made up of the people who are in it, and no one can be immune to it! Therefore, the trial of a few people does not show that someone has been responsible for this disaster... And this even involves the reshuffling and distribution of international forces after the war!
This is a good movie that deserves to be watched over and over again. It is also a luxurious group play of the cast: Spencer Tracy, Bert Lancaster, Richard Widmark, Marlene Dietrich, Maximilian Scheer...
Maximilian Representative The German defense lawyer and Richard Widmark, who represented the US public prosecutor, staged a wonderful trial scene.
More importantly, you can appreciate the style of Spencer Tracy. In 1960, he was already in his sixtieth year and full of white hair. This man whom the maverick Katherine Hepburn loved for 26 years looked in every way. Even if he falls into a crowd, he will immediately drown, but Katherine Hepburn, the most individual actress in film and television, is fascinated by him and cannot extricate herself...
A few years later, in 1967, Tracy died. He was an American filmmaker. The first consecutive actor in history, watching his performance, simple and natural, has a quiet but touching power...

Bravo! A person’s behavior is in accordance with the national interest and the current law, and he has done his job brilliantly-is he guilty when the law is legally applied and enforced? The great thing about this movie is not that it raises the last question, but that it implies that the US aid to Germany can change the outcome of the trial, that is, the effect of the law. Bread and faith, too ironic.

A tale of four men: one gentle yet majestic, one reticent yet stubborn, one tough yet compassionate, one exuberant yet conscientious, Marlene Dietrich and Judy Garland are basically the same thing except for those at the beginning of the film. Beautiful Ruin Shots It's a Totally Character-Driven Movie

Judgment at Nuremberg quotes

  • Hans Rolfe: The statement: "My country, right or wrong" was expressed by a great American patriot. It is no less true for a German patriot.

  • Emil Hahn: Today, you sentence me! Tomorrow, the Bolsheviks sentence you!
