On the test of human nature by claustrophobia/interest

In the afternoon, I had nothing to do. I saw this movie "Black Sea Wins Gold" when I was watching Youku's movies. Jude Law, who was once suave, now only has his bald head and face full of vicissitudes on the cover.
The plot of the story is not conventional. It tells that Robinson, the submarine captain played by Jude Law, was fired by his employer. When he was worried about his livelihood, an old man came to the door and said that somewhere in the sea there was a boat of gold from Hitler's time. We can find a Sponsors invest, and then gather a group of people to secretly make it out, and divide it after success. Robinson was moved, found a bunch of experienced old people, and finally found the sunken ship and pulled out the gold. However, due to the distribution of the gold, the crew had conflicts and even quarreled to death. The banker who disembarked together was this Shi also revealed that it was a scam, they would not get anything, it was the plan of Robinson's former owner, and they were arrested after landing, killing two birds with one stone. Robinson didn't want to accept his fate and took the radical canyon route. As a result, the crew members attacked each other with heavy casualties due to the distraction of their hearts. In the end, the ship sank. Only two people escaped, and Robinson was buried at the bottom of the sea.

All movies have such a routine. Once a group of people are involved in interests and in a claustrophobic environment, then human nature will be infinitely magnified, and all negative emotions will erupt, such as "The Panic Fang", "The Ultimate Interview", "Mobile" Labyrinth", in which people are more inclined to be safe, fear that they will occupy the body, and all ideas that are not conducive to survival will be rejected.
In the second half of the film, a group of people sailed into the canyon. I thought they would survive without any danger. In the end, everyone returned with a full reward, so no matter how violent they were in the middle, I told myself that there were Sacrifice is normal, but the outcome will not change. When Frazier picked up the wrench and slammed it hard on the maintenance foreman, I finally realized, oh, this is not going to work.
In the last part of the film, there is a scene where Jude Law sits on gold and smokes a cigarette. Imagine that there was such a scene on the sunken ship in the film clip before. A stack of white bones lay on the gold, as if he wanted to get close to the gold, but he never had the chance to use it again.
The final shot of the film shows the draftsman and young Robin floating on the water with a bag of gold beside it. I didn't dare to think about it later, for fear that it would still be a tragedy.

During the viewing process, there were two episodes that made me feel a little bit.

1. What's the use of killing him?
After the banker told Robinson that it was a scam, the crew got angry and wanted to kill the banker to vent their anger, but was stopped by Robinson and said, you kill him and then what? Are you going to die? In the end, everyone faced hidden dangers because they wanted to keep this person. He whispered in Fraser's ear, instigated to kill the boatman, and finally the group went to a dead end.
When we face similar problems, we often have such an explanation to tell us that we don’t have to punish people who do wrong, that is, “What’s the use of killing (beating/scolding) him?” Behind such a logic, the original intention It is to tell us that things are irreversible and that blaming is useless. But we ignore another, worse situation, which is when the person goes even further, unpunished and unrepentant, ultimately spreading negative emotions. In this case, "the character of this person" must be taken into account, and it is better to let him die as soon as possible, just like the goddess in "The Mist", who should have shot her to death long ago.

2. The qualified team must be
divided into Russian and American crew members who perform their own duties. Therefore, the communication between the crew members is not particularly smooth, but then everyone must work together to survive. Put aside prejudice, everyone stays in their own Do your job well at the post, and finally get things done. The revolutionary friendship and sense of accomplishment came out, and it was the helmsman and Robin who looked at each other and smiled.
So omniscient and omnipotent is worse than being forced to take a position that requires full-time, but the elite team knows that such people basically do not exist in reality. If you can perform your duties and find your own position in the team, you are the best player.

Black Sea quotes

  • Captain Robinson: Those bastards fired the man who found it. Kurston. He was a good man. Gave his life to his job, just like the rest of us here. They fired him. He killed himself. They fired me. They fired men like flushing shit down a toilet. Well... this time the shit is fighting back.

  • Captain Robinson: [trying to read a note to him in Russian]

    Morozov: What are you saying?

Captain Robinson: You speak English? Why didn't you say anything before?

Morozov: No one speak me, I don't speak them.
