Every time I talk to my friends about which action star in Hollywood can be compared to Jackie Chan, it must be Tom, a famous life-threatening boy. At the age of five Zhang, he is still fighting for his life in works such as Mission Impossible. He is still playing bigger and bigger. After climbing the Burj Khalifa, it is not enough to chase another plane. I don’t know if he will jump the rocket next time. It's not that they never use stand-ins, but in order to achieve the best results, these desperate Saburos will also go into battle in person at the appropriate time, and strive to achieve the best look and feel for the thrilling scenes.
But the author really didn't understand what the purpose of Tom's acting in the Jack Reacher series was. He wanted to transform into a detective and follow Jack Klein's line of literary fighting? Dare to use the name of Xia Detective, it shows that the suspense of the film is greater than the action, and the selling point is the confusing events rather than the thrilling scenes that are frequently staged in the investigation. As far as the previous work is concerned, the plot is still a bit interesting. Although the procrastination of the rhythm has seriously damaged the narrative of the film and weakened the sense of suspense, there is always a point. However, the investigation process did not reflect much intelligence, and the weak villain also collapsed at the end, causing the film to end quietly before it broke out. On the contrary, it is the action scene of the movie, which is crisp and sharp, not dragging its feet, the gunfight is remarkable, and the car chase scene also feels like Bourne.
Looking at this film again, there is only a little suspense left, and I feel that the trailer is purely deceiving. If there is one point in never looking back that can be associated with Xia Detective, it is Tom's ability to meddle in his own business and find trouble, which is comparable to that of Lu Xiaofeng and Edogawa Conan. The action part is more like Spy Shots, and even the soundtrack seems to be carved out of the same mold as Bourne in order to remind the audience of that series. Listening to the soundtrack, the dark picture, the slightly shaky footage, there are a few scenes where I really thought Jason Bourne would come out. At least the atmosphere is created in place.
The Xia Detective series seems to have given up the struggle and honestly returned to the spy war action movie. The fights are still fierce and swift to overcome the enemy, which is different from other spy films, not to mention the thrilling elements are lost, not to mention the huge visual appeal. To say which point jumped out of the cliché of espionage action, I am afraid only the director abandoned the car chase scene and changed it to running and chasing. Just watch Tom compete with the villain, and with the sister paper. To save people is to run, and to escape is also to run. If you can solve the problem with your thighs, you will never get into the car. Since there is no thrilling scene to toss the soup, even if it is to run, let him run enough.
In the last episode, Jack was involved in a well-designed wrongful case. He was supposed to sanction a retired soldier, but it turned into helping him clear his grievances. In this film, starting from flirting with girls, how can the ace agent not bring his own talent. As a result, the girl has not been picked up yet, but she likes to be a father and has an extra daughter. So the family of three happily embarked on the road of escape and investigation. The plot of the previous work at least focused on the case and detection, and the killer's motive was also to prevent Jack from pursuing it. In this part, the killer is purely to compete with Jack. They are both retired professional soldiers, separated from social life, lonely and old, two very similar people. This setting, perhaps to tie in with the film's subtitle Never Look Back. The killer couldn't forget the military life, so he turned his head and gave up the struggle; but Jack, by being a private law sanctioner and a hero detective, avoided going back to the past. In this film, although he failed to seduce the girl in the end, he established a bond with the fake daughter. At the end of the film, he was still wandering, but there was a little more concern.
From this, it can be seen that this film focuses more on Jack's own psychology and state, which belongs to personal construction, the case is weak, and the investigation process is quite simple. This film does not revolve around the case like the previous work, but everything revolves around Jack's father and daughter, but the biggest failure is that the relationship between father and daughter is not portrayed in detail.
There is really no need for Jack Reacher to continue filming, Tommy quickly getting Mission Impossible 6 out is the best satisfaction for fans.
