Tom, I don't blame you for the "Jack Reacher" series not looking good.

I can't help recommending a few movies first, because I really saw the shadow of a lot of movies during the viewing process.
The Avenger: starring Denzel Washington. Uncle Loli, with a special identity, fights against the stupid government. It is quite similar to "Jack Reacher 2", but whether it is plot, emotion, laughter, or tears, it is a few streets away from the latter. The role of Loli is the hitgirl in "Kai Bian Wang", she is so cute, so I want to see a similar movie and recommend this one. (Denzel's movies are all very good.)
"Rage to the rescue": Sorry, it's still starring Denzel. It's still the uncle Loli, the uncle is still a special forces soldier, and he is fighting against the gang. The loli in this one is more adorable, and the process of watching it is very moving, and the plot is also tense.
"Dark Night": You can tell what type of movie it is by hearing the name, Liam's old man's movie, but this is Uncle and Zhengtai, and Uncle is a professional killer. The rhythm and transitions are great, and the night view is beautiful.
There are also "Hurricane Rescue" and "This Killer Is Not Too Cold".
There are also "Bourne Bounds", "Mission Impossible", "007", not to mention these, in short, watching "Jack Reacher 2" in you chase me, might as well watch these classic agent series again.

The whole film has gunfights, fights, drag racing, and chases. It's a very exciting movie, but it's a pity that it's too cookie-cutter and it's too commonplace and too mediocre.
"Jack Reacher 2" really has basically no bright spots in the plot. The whole film is completely of the kind where you can guess the next plot every minute before.
I don't dare to mock the plot with the effect of going to the toilet and sleeping on the plot. After all, Tom is still attractive.
But his charm is not as neat as it was in the past, and he can only rely on movies to create a sharp and unrestrained character image.
In the film, he dismantles firearms blindly, subdues the villain with his bare hands, can keenly detect being followed, finds girls from detailed observation, and saves danger many times. Many scenes depict Jack's personal heroism perfectly, so it is a matter of course. It will feel like 007, very cool and dashing like Sherlock.
Coincidentally, Tommy's acting skills are still very good, and he worked very hard to play the role of Jack.
It's a pity that no matter how good the actors are, they can't hold up a bad play.
I don't know if I'm too old to withstand that kind of high-intensity fights, so in "Jack Reacher 2", Tom's fights basically ended with a few moves. The only scene that makes people feel burnt is the final fight with the villain. The viciousness of each punch, the sound of broken bones, the neat and vigorous movements, and the camera effects, the adrenal glands surged immediately.
It is said that Tom is getting old, it is true.
There is a scene in the film. He and the heroine are in the same room. I don't know why the shooting effect is the reason. The exposed body of the heroine actually feels stretch marks, and when Tom takes off his T-shirt, he clearly feels the fat and beer belly.
Everyone has actors with emotions, and Tom Cruise is certainly one of those actors for me. From "Rain Man" to "Mission Impossible", and later "Edge of Tomorrow", they are all very favorite movies.
So "Jack Reacher 2" can only rely on Tom Cruise's vicissitudes but still handsome face.

In other castings, I think the little girl is a very failure, her acting skills are average, and her appearance is not the kind that the public likes. In the film, her acting skills are often very stiff, and her speech seems unnatural, especially when she feels the scene.
The only good thing might be her playful tone when she's being petty.
Maybe it's better to find a cute loli like the movies mentioned earlier.
Maybe the screenwriter tried a little too hard to portray Jack and the "daughter" in order to highlight the emotional scenes and the director also tried to enhance the sensationalism, and a lot of space was exaggerating the unclear father-daughter relationship between them. Originally, what a special agent film needs is to be fast, but their design has slowed down the plot.
The villain in the film was a little surprised. It was actually T-Bag in the jailbreak. Unfortunately, he basically didn't have his role and plot, and the last scene of being captured was so rushed.

I haven't seen the first "Jack Reacher", and I used to search for the background before watching the movie. I heard that the first film had a bad reputation; both, the second and first films did not have a very good plot. There is a close connection, so I watched the second part directly with a longing mentality.
Sadly still disappointed.
With a new screenwriter and a new director, maybe Tom Cruise thought he could get a new story and reverse the bad reputation of the first film, but as a result, he still couldn't create a new agent role.
So I can't blame Tom Cruise for the bad movies, like Kevin Spacey and Nicolas Cage, who I used to like, have also acted in too many bad movies.
It can only be said that when the market has a large demand for a certain type, all the producers want to make the movie in a certain demand, the audience is tired of aesthetics, and bad films emerge one after another.
If ten years ago, "Jack Reacher" would have become a classic series of movies?
