Best Pride and Prejudice I've ever seen

Pride and Prejudice The red tape of the Brits is only a good meal with the blood of the zombies added.
The beginning of the film is still British-style greetings, but the appearance of zombies makes the film no longer monotonous and boring. I think the screenwriter is seeing through the shortcomings of the original book, and then introduced the element of zombies. In the days of blood and fire, love is so precious. And the moment of life and death will make people more cherish the moment of joy in front of them.
As the story unfolds, the second half of the film is much more exciting than the first half, and the scene where Elizabeth hugs Darcy on the broken bridge is more moving than the other pair falling to the ground.
The easter eggs at the end of the film, the zombies rushed over, are also very good, it is worth watching.

Prejudice Eliza Bai recited a poem in Wu dialect, Sun Tzu's art of war, and kicked away Bushido arrogant Mr. Darcy; Kham and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Well, this is the Jane Austen adaptation I want to see :D The disadvantage is that it is anticlimactic, and there are too many serious romance paragraphs.

You can't do a zombie movie without good action scenes. Another point is deducted for the male protagonist's appearance. Darcy is not allowed to look like this. I have also read the novel (Wang Tian), and I did enough psychological construction on OOC before reading it, but unfortunately I am too familiar with P&P. The kind that can recite Darcy's death proposal lines, watching the fan version on the screen is really annoying. not live. In the same way, JA wrote about gentlemen and ladies. The humanistic Lizzy is either stupid or rude or emotional or the Virgin, and Darcy is without exception a love brain. I really want to see this kind of love, just ask the boss of the Ministry, Mary Su. Ugh.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies quotes

  • George Wickham: The crown's funds are being drained.

Mr. Darcy: [incredulous] You're here to solicit money!

George Wickham: I'm here to propose a venture that would end the war forever. These new zombies can be reasoned with. With the proper funding I believe we can cultivate trust and even good will with this new iteration of the undead, who seem to posses an inherent power of the lower ranks of their kind.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: [starts laughing, not believing] Zombie aristocrats?

    Parson Collins: [smirking] Oh, really!

George Wickham: I prefer to think of them as souls lost in purgatory.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: [considering] Hmm.

George Wickham: The common hordes look to them for leadership. It takes just one of them to realize that power and then to lead the hordes into battle.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: The undead are like locusts!

    Parson Collins: [still smirking] Locusts.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: [now determined] They go forth and destroy. They have no use for leaders!

Parson Collins: Oh, uh, except one actually.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh: [turning] Hmm?

Parson Collins: Oh, well, um, according to the Book of Revelation the antichrist shall lead the undead, uh, on the day that shall be the last day of mankind.

  • Mrs. Bennet: [trying to be complimentary] Lady, may I take a moment to compliment you on your pantaloons. Your eyepatch. Fashion or function?

    Lady Catherine de Bourgh: Function.
