This is not a comedy, because Winnie's dad is the biggest villain, pedantic and bureaucratic, and in the end he doesn't get any punishment, the white hat is still on his head.
In contrast, the red hat is just a poor ghost who insists on abiding by the rules of the class and unscrupulously. Even like his two subordinates who lost their way in the end, right and wrong is nothing but the direction they are attached to.
The former is an abominable system pervert, and the latter is a pathetic human nature.
As for the complete subversion, the heroic box monsters have given us the best answer:
