The visual style of heavy makeup is preserved intact

This Cannes controversial work is not as unsightly as imagined, at least it is easier to understand than the director's previous work "Only God Can Forgive". In terms of the subject matter, you can smell the dark and weirdness of David Lynch. In terms of lighting/photography, it is reminiscent of Gaspar Noe's most provocative character, and even the two directors use the same actor. Nicolas Winding Refn's usual heavy-makeup visual style remains intact, with strong color block collisions, slow-motion photography, and unexpected violent elements. The most outstanding soundtrack this time is Cliff Martinez's soundtrack. The use of retro electronics is clearly a tribute to the Italian giallo film. Century Revival Edition. The bloody storms and intrigues in the fashion circle are full of dramatic plots and excavations. Unfortunately, the tension of the plot completely gave way to the display of the director's personal style, which made the criticism in the second half of the story plummet, and it was reduced to inexplicable female models tearing each other apart. Arranging a disgusting scene as the climax of the show is also irreversible.
