Worth a look, but has many shortcomings

The movie is so good, the shakuhachi (maybe?) in the soundtrack came out and everyone burst into tears. Although the action and behavior of the characters are still very American style, it would be better if they were dubbed in Japanese, but there are really oriental charms in many places.

It's just that the loopholes in the plot are still too big, many things are not explained, and the ending is too weak. The appearance of several characters in the middle is abrupt and uncoherent, some of the plots are very boring, the lines are slightly poor, and the funny plots are a bit embarrassing. So I have to say that although Disney has a lot of bad movies, the completion and integrity of the whole story are really very strong, and the fluency is quite awesome. This is the film's biggest flaw.

In terms of characters, the design is very eye-catching, but the character modeling is slightly weak. Dad's funny role settings are quite cliché, and my mother's character has not been substituted for me because of the monkey. In Kubo's case, the character setting is still weak, but because the design is so awesome and this kind of Touhou Zhengtai just hits my cute point, I still can't help but fall into the gentle town of Zhengtai... (

Then it's a bit of a waste of settings, I think You can go a little further, but even if you can't, it's good to just play with Japanese elements and concepts and tell the story well, it's a pity the writers didn't do that.

But overall it's pretty good. Suggestions Go and see!

Oops, it's just the disappointment of making up mysteries to show the Americans, and making up brain-damaged Western stories under the guise of Japanese elements. Sky lanterns and conjuring lanterns are clearly two things, and the more I look at them, the more I feel that this is really not China except for the torii... Copy Short comment: This buddy can beat the big devil if he plays the piano, why does he have to go over the mountains to find armor and swords?

To pay tribute to the three giant monsters of Ray Harryhausen, Leica Studio is going to go against the rhythm of the sky, integrating Gothic and Dongfeng elements. Such a dark animation is definitely an anomaly these days, but the story is full of warmth. It is about salvation and healing, and the theme melody of a family of three is exotic.

Kubo and the Two Strings quotes

  • Beetle: I have a question. If I'm Beetle and you're Monkey, why isn't he called Boy?

  • Kubo: [of Beetle] Monkey! I think he's in trouble! We should help him!

Monkey: Kubo, your aunts are still out there! I'm sorry, but we have to head for shore!

[Kubo jumps in the water, leaving Monkey distraught]

    Monkey: Kubo!

[runs across the leafy galleon and jumps off to dive in for Kubo, but a mechanical hand attached to a chain grabs her by the leg and pulls her back onto the deck. She looks up above her as one of the sisters gently floats down towards the boat, holding the chain in her hand]

The Sisters: Oh, how precious. I come here to fish, and all I reel in is a wretched ape. it is a shame that this filthy creature is all that's left of my sister's magic.

Monkey: This filthy creature will tear you APART!

[runs to the sister with a sword in her hands, jumps up and strikes at the sister who blocks the attack with a sword of her own]
