The whole movie is a dream. The high-energy aliens go through a routine before destroying the earth. They need to pick an earthling with the magical ability to achieve what they want. If this person does nothing good, he can decisively destroy the earth. . So Neil (Simon Pegg), an obscure single middle school teacher, was chosen. Possessing the superpower to do whatever he wants, Neil is almost omnipotent. He can get money, cars, and beauties at his fingertips, but these are the primary stages of superpowers.
