Wonderful childhood growth story, there are a lot of conflicts throughout the movie, C and his father, his father and Zinny, the conflict between white and black, and two murder scenes, but it does not hinder the warmth of this movie, C There is a righteous and responsible father, Xinni who dotes on him and teaches him many philosophy of life, and the beautiful black pearl. I just didn't understand one thing, who put the bomb on Xinni's car? The movie didn't explain it until the end. After much deliberation, it was only the person who killed Xinni at the end, because Xinni was his father's enemy. If you come out and mix, you always have to pay it back. Maybe that's what this film is about. Xinni knows that the underworld is a road of no return, and he can't help himself, so don't repeat the same mistakes. At the beginning of the film, Xinni kills, and at the end of the film, Xinyi is revenge. The first and last echoes.

A story of a child and two fathers. Beatles's soundtrack, slow narrative and gangster atmosphere are exactly the feeling of "Once Upon a Time in America"~ This is definitely an unpopular all-you-can-eat movie~ A five-star recommended movie!

Although this film was made 20 years ago, although I only watched it today...it's awesome...the feeling of "why didn't I watch it earlier" in my heart is stronger than the feeling of watching "12 Angry Men" a few years ago. Robert De Niro is such a genius - I mean him as a director.
