Jin Min is such an author, he focuses on telling those "incredible things". In order for the story to stand, he had to put all sorts of coats on the unbelievable. "Millennium Actress"'s coat is a movie. In this way, Kim tries to make the heroine's improbable obsession easy to accept. This approach was not completely successful, and many viewers did not buy it, saying that they could not understand the behavior of the heroine. The coat of "Red Pepper" is a dream, which is a panacea (no one will question whether the dream is real), but the mystery and obscurity of the dream itself also affects the intelligibility of the film, and it becomes too brain-burning. One of these two stories is unbelievable, and the other is difficult to understand. Although they are colorful and gorgeous, they still cannot avoid flaws. When it came to "The Godfather of Tokyo", Jin Min resorted to the most effective ecstasy soup in human history-religion. All coincidences can be interpreted as miracles, all meanings can point to redemption. The issues of "credibility" and "comprehension" were solved in one go. Unless you're an outright atheist, it's a bummer to question such a wonderful and heartwarming film. Jin Min said that "Tokyo Godfather" is his most satisfying movie. I guess because he knows that this movie can capture the hearts of all audiences. Anyway, he won me over - I'll be living off this film every Christmas from now on.
