Colin Firth is as good as ever, and it's all up to him to control the field; Nicole Kidman doesn't have a lot of scenes, but it's all meat, fans should not be disappointed.
People who watched it liked this film very much, perhaps because of their longing for the era of the masters and the good cast of the whole tune. It would be more appropriate if this film had twice as much time and space to be made into a TV movie or mini-series, which would comprehensively show the spirit of the times and characters.
