Ove is a kind and responsible but annoying old man. In this respect, he is especially like the sixth master in Lao Pao'er. The difference is that Ove was able to reconcile with an era he did not understand, and then passed away peacefully; while Lao Paoer fought until he fell on the ice lake, and his reconciliation was completed by his son.
This era is developing too fast, and many people will gradually close themselves and stick to everything they are used to. But in fact, the most basic characteristics of people are still the same. It is not that they cannot communicate, but the pace is too fast. Too many opportunities for communication are lost.
However, Muslims are chosen as neighbors in the film, which is somewhat politically correct and slightly subtle.
