messy and boring

I first saw the short trailer of the film in the cinema and had no impression of the plot. But since I like dachshunds, I have been looking forward to this movie.

Before watching the movie, I went to imdb to read the profile, and there was one sentence "A dachshund passes from oddball owner to oddball owner, whose radically dysfunctional lives are all impacted by the pooch." The movie was classified as a comedy. Still thinking about a ridiculous joke between a dachshund and different weird owners.

So, I was home alone today, made myself a hearty lunch, and prepared to watch this movie while enjoying the food. Not long after the movie started, I couldn't find any trace of comedy at all, and instead, the weird family made me feel uncomfortable at the beginning. At that time, I thought it was a foreshadowing. Maybe the puppy was very depressed in a super boring family, and soon after changing the owner, he started a happy life. When I was eating lunch while dreaming about the future of my dog, the movie started showing the dog eating a nut bar and having diarrhea, and then the camera kept showing the whole yard of excrement. Just like that, the good mood of the day and the lunch that took two hours to make were ruined.

Once I was sure that this movie was definitely not a comedy, I thought that since I had finished watching the first host, I might as well watch the rest, so I was in the WTF mood for the rest of the film. finished. Once again, a reminder to those who haven't seen this movie, if you find that this movie is not what you imagined at the beginning, leave the movie theater or turn off the player, there is no need to watch it any more, really, the content in the back is more Boring.

If you are an art lover, you may have a different opinion, but for someone like me who is confused about entering a modern art museum, I really cannot appreciate this type of art. For example, in this movie, it took two minutes to record the dog's excrement in detail (the key is still thin), and for example, at the end of the movie, after the dog was run over by a truck alive, it was continued to be run over by the three cars behind.

Speaking of the plot of the film, four separate segments are linked through the dachshund. But the whole movie seems to have nothing to do with the dachshund. If the dachshund is replaced by other kittens, puppies and rabbits, there is no sense of disobedience. I don't know why the director chose to choose a dachshund, and why he must use animals to "connect" these four unrelated "stories" together. I'm not even sure if "connection" is used here properly, because there is no connection between the second clip and the third clip at all, just put a little PPT and background music and it will be fooled, and after the third clip is over, The screen goes black for a second and then skips to the next segment.

In short, this movie is not a comedy, this movie is not about dachshunds. I think the director may not like dachshunds, maybe the person he hates most is people who like dachshunds, like me.
