In Black and white film, every freeze frame is a beautiful picture. The Polish historical period in which the film is located is very complicated. During the process of Ada and her aunt looking for the burial place of her parents, the people they met did not want to mention the dark history before. In the war years, even ordinary citizens may have innocent blood on their hands. The massacres during the war have no possibility of vindication even after the war. The song and dance that appeared in the hotel had a dark tone, because even after this song and dance, Aunt Wanda chose to jump, which was beautiful and hopeless, and Ada also chose to return to her faith after experiencing it.
