The level of the four main characters is very clear:
Xiaopa's feelings are very delicate, and the film begins by saying that he has only one ex. But then with Richie I think it's because he's vain (perhaps the word is too much), cares about what other people think, wants to prove himself to his friends, or on the other hand he wants to get out of a previous relationship. He is mild-mannered and doesn't seem to be careful, but he is a little withdrawn and unwilling to admit his bad side. Augustine once said to him: I have a different problem than you, I am willing to let go of the loose, but you will be a good person (probably this is what it means). It was said earlier that he was vain, or that he cared too much about other people's eyes, and that he had delicate feelings. Combining these two points made him live a little cautiously. He actually just reluctantly chose to be with Richie, which is also Richie's willingness to break up with him. He didn't even like the magic card, so he kept taking it out to see it, in fact, he was constantly comforting himself and telling himself that it was good. He really liked Kevin. When Kevin met Rich, he said that Rich would open his own shop. Of course, Rich did not have this plan. Because he liked Kevin, he didn't want Kevin to know that Rich was low. He was also a little ashamed to know Jon's profession, feeling that he wasn't competitive at all. Later, at his sister's wedding, there were all kinds of sweetness and embarrassment, and Jon was pulled in to propose to Kevin, which made him very uncomfortable. Later in the bathroom, he pushed Kevin away, partly because Kevin had a bf, but I think it was because he was serious. He liked Kevin as seriously as he did in his first term, not like Richie who slapped the sheets rashly when they first met. Later, it was true that the two began to have an affair.
Augustine was an artist, although no one admits it. But he had the madness of an artist, he was wild and indifferent. He is willing to find CJ and Frank for art, he doesn't care about money, he doesn't care about feelings, he doesn't care about work. But once such a person cares, he will go crazy.
Dom is mature and stable, and feels like an older brother to them. Perhaps it was the pressure of age that forced him to be realistic. He started wanting a career and ended up falling in love with Lynn because of it. In fact, he wanted to be cared for in his heart, and liked a mature old driver like Lynn.
Dorothy is very free, very open. Definitely someone else's best friend. As long as there is her place, the atmosphere is always very rough~~
Of course, I only saw the first season, the analysis may be biased, don't spray if you don't like it.
