From the impression I get from the picture, this is a movie that is jumping around, usually only in rough countryside. The story it tells takes place in the 1970s. It has a very strong local flavor, and is full of ruffians, but it is also mixed with poetry, those singing when parting, and the tears when sad.
What left a deep impression on me is that the Roma people are really interesting. One minute they kiss the hand of the elder courteously, and the next minute they get into a fight because of a disagreement. The women's strong personalities and the animal world like tiger and leopard. In another scene, the man was assassinated, and his woman picked up the pistol that had fallen on the ground and chased after the killer who fled the scene, unafraid until he caught up with the enemy and shot him in revenge. Is this also a Roma character trait?
Are women brave and aggressive in Roma society? Are women the ones in charge of the house? Because I see that children's marriage is a negotiation between hostess; women are working, men are drinking, singing and gambling.
A good movie is a window, from which you can see another world, a world that you are not yet familiar with.
