Frankly speaking, the ending of the first season is the best episode. The heroine’s devastated life is not uncommon even if she goes to the cemetery every day. Even so, she has made various efforts with her inner black hole to resist. Okay, grab a little bit of hope.
Looking at most of the people around her, everyone is surprisingly selfish... handsome friends, sisters of successful people, fathers who would be embarrassed to meet with their daughters, and mean stepmothers... this kind of selfishness can even be seen from the perspective of an onlooker. I feel that the hostess is a victim in these relationships, especially the father has been evading real communication with his daughter, and is immersed in the pursuit of his own happy life in old age. Everyone wants to be decent, avoid loneliness, and don't care about what they do to others.
But is the hostess just a victim? No, the same horrible thing is what she did to her girlfriends, compared to what I can only comment on she has to live with it...
It looks uncomfortable, very uncomfortable.
In the end, I had no choice but to comfort myself from the perspective of characterization. The show is very relevant. The fleabag is not fake at all, and it is worth learning. The Chinese title is just a shit.
