The theme of the film is probably: love needs patience. There is no one-sided approach to love (various techniques for chasing women). Even the ugly gets love. Personally agree too.
Actually the hero is really good. I think. He himself has tried that love medicine and it doesn't work, but he still wants to prevent it from appearing, so he is not actually preventing love from happening. But I don't want people to suffer the same damage as him for this medicine. It is also very considerate with the female partner. Sweet plum fairy or something, she's just making trouble, she deserves to be trapped.
