An extremely oppressive education and hierarchy gave birth to a series of tragedies, and a larger national tragedy was conceived in them. By the hand of God, doing "natural" justice is a terrible thing, and it is even more gloomy when it happens to a child. Even if the nature is inherently evil, it is magnified under the intimidation and threat of symbolic authority.
