Machines are just tools. And once you are smart enough without involving strict morality and legal settings, the situation can become quite dangerous.
Two old people problem. Frank and his children do not have good communication channels. However, no matter how stubborn Frank is, he needs emotional communication as a human being, and then Frank appears. Robots have no emotions, and when they are intelligent enough, it is easy to give people the illusion, especially the elderly who do not understand the principle. One detail is that they were caught by the police on the spot when they returned home, and Frank actually guarded the robot to enter the house, which marked that Frank had completely fallen into it.
Some people say that he returned to his family in the end, but I think the family will leave after a look at the ending. Frank looks at the hospital, and robots are still accompanying the elderly in their daily lives, which only shows an incomprehensible reality: the relationship between people. There is no communication, and robots can indeed have a substitute role in which to accompany. And the word "accompany" actually already has an emotional effect in it. This is probably a contradiction that cannot be reconciled when artificial intelligence acts as an escort.
As for warmth, comedy, sorry, I don't see it. In the short comment, did you watch the same drama that you were moved?
