The story develops haphazardly. Why did anne have to deal with stark and what did she get? What conspiracy did the hospital do to make tony a scapegoat so that he could kill stark? Why did jack try so hard to help stark to threaten and frame his godfather, it turned out to be his father! If the woman you like is with stark, you should help him! Since Judge Owen is his father, why the fuck wasn't he with him? And what is the relationship between the female sandi and stark, his wife? It's not like the relationship between husband and wife, why stark makes her angry with other women. I don't understand all of this, let alone for rights and interests. The movie doesn't make it clear at all.

What you don't know won't hurt you.

Sometime ain't never now.

But sometimes a man want something so bad so full of want he plain forget what it is he want.

I'm coming for them and I'm coming for blood.

You're a hick. And ain't nobody never helped a hick but a hick himself.

I keep Tiny around to remind me of something l never wanna forget. When they come around sweet-talking, don't listen . Never listen.

Mother, if I'm ever like l used to be, do me a favour and shoot me.

That two-timing bastard.

A man is conceived in sin and born in corruption. For there's a kind of snobbery in failure.

Power is like a drug, it can devour anyone, no matter how good their intentions or their rhetoric, from ancient times to today, without exception. Sean Penn is already a god, is there anything he can't play?

All the King's Men quotes

  • Willie Stark: Remember, it is not I who have won, but you. Your will is my strength, and your need is my justice, and I shall live in your right and your will. And if any man tries to stop me from fulfilling that right and that will, I'll break him. I'll break him with my bare hands, for I have the strength of many.

  • [repeated line]

    Willie Stark: Nail 'em up!
