Ivan IV was an intelligent, wise and capable man whose activities were characterized by foresight and firm purpose, and a progressive nature. Ivan IV held a very special and important position in the history of the founding of Tsarist Russia. But on the other hand, this person grew up in the extremely complex environment of class struggle and internal struggle within the ruling group. Since childhood, he has developed a strong-willed and ruthless character. He has a strong suspicion, is very excited, cruel, and is very jealous of the nobles. They were severely suppressed. At the age of 13, he ordered the execution of the hereditary lord who opposed him. In his rage, he even killed the eldest son, Prince Ivan, with a cane, which made people feel particularly horrified and terrified. Hence the nickname "Thunder Emperor" (i.e. "Ivan the Terrible" or "Ivan the Terrible").
