a little confused when I first heard the lyrics, what do you want to express? This is not "form is emptiness, emptiness is form"... but it seems to be related in some way.
After reading the story of Sweetheart Bai, the story of the Gang of Seven, and thinking of Kikyo, I can understand a little bit.
The human mind is the place where both good and evil live, but most people choose to pursue good and avoid evil. As for how good can be achieved, it depends on one’s practice. But because of this, he is unwilling to admit that he has evil and moral flaws, and clinging to "I am a great good person, I can't have evil, and I don't accept evil", but it will become another kind of cocoon. So when I found out that I had evil, I suddenly lost confidence in myself and human nature. In any case, I couldn't accept such myself and took anger at the people who "exposed" my "evil".
Master Bai Xin is a villager, dedicating everything to the people he encounters, being a clean person all his life, and even dedicating his death to the villagers, in order to become a bodhisattva to bless the villagers (so there is a pure and clean enchantment like Bailing Mountain). And when he was waiting for death alone in the dark, long darkness, long loneliness, long fear, he suddenly discovered his longing for life, his obsession with life, "I don't want to die either", so he There was reluctance, "forced", "loneliness and incomprehension" in his dedication, and resentment against the villagers. Suddenly he discovered his "evil", "selfishness" and was unwilling to give. He can't accept this kind of self, he doesn't admit to accepting this kind of self, he has a grudge against people - they forced me to become a "evil" person. After he became a bodhisattva in the flesh, he was still the object of worship and love by the villagers, but the resentment in his heart was never understood (it is really hard to be a great saint!), until Naraku appeared, Naraku understood his With this hard work, Bai Xin's sweetheart suddenly felt relieved, and he was willing to protect the only "person" who understood him, ignoring who he was and what he did.
In fact, Sweetheart Bai always thought that it was his resentment that kept him from resting. It was not until he finally met Kikyo that Kikyo revealed the real reason why he couldn't rest in peace: because he did not forgive his "evil", he did not admit his "evil", and he did not accept that he would behave like an ordinary person at the last moment. There is an "attachment to life", so it is painful. When he accepted himself in the embrace of Kikyo, accepted the fact that good and evil coexist, and gave up his paranoia toward good (opened the barrier), he finally got liberation and rest. He is still a great man, and even if there is a little bit of evil, that bit of disgust for evil also brings out his great goodness.
Kikyo saw this from her own experience and truly understood Sweetheart Bai. She is a good witch and has done so many good things, but she also has resentment, love, and entanglement, so as a dead person, she still wanders alone in the living world.
The Gang of Seven is evil enough. The gang of wicked people has done so many things that hurt the world, but there is still goodness. Sleeping bone has a dual personality, one is a doctor who saves and heals the wounded, and the other is a butcher who can't stop killing people; the barbarian bone will be moved by the loyalty of the snake bone; the silver bone will try his best to save the refining bone. How complex is human nature.
Human beings are a coexistence of good and evil. Only by recognizing and recognizing this can we truly know ourselves, and we can go better and farther in the practice of pursuing good and eliminating evil.
