The entire film has only three actors, a middle-class couple in their early thirties, and a young man. A middle-class couple met a young man while driving, so they boarded a small sailboat together. The youth is a punk who is always on the road, but why does the husband invite him to participate in the couple's outing? It should be as the wife said, "You are all there to show off yourself".

The relationship between husband and wife and youth is like an enemy, like a good friend, like a father and son (mother and son), like a couple (rival in love). All these subtle relationships and psychological changes take place on a small boat, a place far away from human society and far from the land.

The whole film feels similar to Hitchcock, especially similar to [Rope]. There are only three actors in the whole film from beginning to end, and the whole storyline also revolves around them. And it's a black-and-white film, and the music is obviously carefully choreographed.

Many of the shots in the film are beautiful and well-composed. Interestingly, the screen is approximately square, and the black and white tone adds a lot of unique beauty.

A game of power. The most important thing is the rhythm. Slowly stretched our expectations for cheating, and finally the car stopped at the three-way intersection and didn't move like an anchor.

Couldn't have done a better set of dramatic conflict scenes, and actually did a good job, making me anxious from the beginning to the end. . There's nothing really cute about these two characters. . Only the only female characters are normal, so it's even more regrettable that she has to stay in such a boring pathetic male-dominated world. .

  • Krystyna: So, you do know how to swim.

  • Andrzej: You don't whistle on board.

    Young Boy: Why not?

Andrzej: It's not done. Sailors get mast-headed for that... Not hikers, though.
