How much do we remember

I watched two movies recently, one is "Mineland" and the other is "Ghost Town", both of which are about World War II. The main battlefield of "Minefield" is Europe. After the end of World War II, German teenagers who were defeated and captured serve as guinea pigs to clear mines. The other is a battlefield in Asia, where girls are forced to act as comfort women. For me, who has a low tear point, these two movies have already turned into tears when I watch them.
One is a boy, one is a girl. They are all irrelevant people in the war, indeed a generation destroyed by the war.
In many World War II-themed films, the protagonists are anti-fascist groups, focusing on portraying the ugliness, ferocity and brutality of fascists. "Minefield" is based on real events, World War II has ended. After the war, there were still 2 million landmines left on the Danish coastline, and German soldiers captured during the war had to clear these leftover landmines. This is a group of teenagers who have just grown up. War means nothing to them, their most pressing desire is to go home and be with their parents. Go become a construction worker and build a home that is already dilapidated.
The scene of the movie is set at the seaside. The teenagers are crawling on the edge of the azure coast to remove the mines one by one, not sure if there will be a bang in the next second, and the rhythm of the movie is also driven by the uncertain sound of mines. In contrast to the quietness presented in the movie scene. Between the teenager and the Danish officer, the emotions are constantly changing as time goes on. There are several very special scenes in the movie, where the officer and the teenager play football together on the coast; the officer does not live with the teenager The door of the place was locked; the German teenager rescued the girl trapped in the minefield; at the same time, a German teenager who lost his brother desperately went to the minefield, with such a silent struggle, with his fellow brothers, and this unforeseeable future The blue sky blends together.
In the end, only the 4 teenagers who survived rushed home, and the Danish officer also completed a redemption for himself. The scenes, the pictures and the acting skills of the actors are all very commendable. Very delicate and touching. Sometimes facing the history squarely allows us to see the future more clearly.
The film "Ghost Town" was a success if it could be made. The film was crowdfunded by more than 70,000 people, and it took 14 years. Such a sensitive subject is presented in the film. This film is to show people who were persecuted in war and died in a foreign land. Go to the table with two main lines. One is the surviving old man Young Hee, and the other is the young girl Jung Min; through the psychic girl, the old Young Hee and the deceased Jung Min are connected.
There is no hysterical accusation in this film, but a peaceful account of the tragic experience of a former girl. Even in the arrangement of the characters, the Japanese army was not portrayed too much. Instead, a Japanese army character was set up because Zhenmin missed her sister so much, and she gave Zhenmin a map to escape. In the end, because she couldn't bear to kill these girls, she was shot by her superiors. Killed and buried with these girls in a foreign land.
The movie "Ghost Township" is as calm as a girl covering her face and crying, quietly describing a fact that never wants to be brought up, because this fact is too painful, and these surviving old people will bear this kind of pain for the rest of their lives.
The bruised body and the devastated soul have already faced a terrifying tomorrow. The film does not strongly portray the destruction suffered by the teenage girl, but only points to it. Perhaps as the movie's final description, we are not to incite hatred, but not to forget this history, to inform us that we do not want to repeat this painful experience.
Finally, in a psychic-possessed dialogue, the old man Young-hee talked to the girl Zhenmin and said, "I just returned my body, but my heart never came back." The psychic girl danced a ghostly dance. The girls who were once forcibly taken away as comfort women turned into butterflies and returned to their hometowns. The picture returns to the warm scene again.
Yes, if there was no cruel and cruel war, girls and teenagers would grow up happily beside their parents.
Although the film is young, it is sincere enough to tell history, not to hate, not to beautify, vilify or render with purpose. History is always just real there.
Both "Minefield" and "Ghost Town" have very good ideas.
It is enough to shake our hearts.

Anti-war theme. Whether it is the victims of the war or the perpetrators, they will all suffer the pain of the war. These teenagers used their flesh and blood to dig out tens of millions of remaining landmines with their bare hands. In the latter part of World War II, most of the Germans who participated in the war were young people. They shouldn't have to endure these hardships. It was really frightening to watch the teenagers who were blown up on the beach. The karma created by the Nazis still had to be repaid by the Germanic nation, and I admired the attitude and perseverance of the Germans very much.

The sea seems much quieter here, and all the scenery is quiet, so the explosion of landmines seems too harsh...The violence and bloodstains that appear in peace may be more terrifying than in war. After the war, the removal of the relics of the war, the landmines have obviously risen to a symbol of relics.
