Originally, I went to see this film for the purpose of understanding Iran, but in the end I found out that it was just a propaganda film in line with Western tastes.
Of course, everyone has some ideas of their own. However, the advantage of a director is that he can express his point of view through a film, so that people with the same taste can be comforted and gathered. From this point of view, it is also involved in politics.
It is also from this perspective that filmmaking needs to be strictly controlled.
The most ridiculous is the last rose plot, which makes it a bit color revolution. This is probably the director's favorite place, but it's the most boring.
Regardless of the director's original intentions, regardless of the film's admirers, this film is a farce. Waste of money, that's all.
If you go to see the outside world more and learn more about the former Soviet Union and the various places where the color revolution took place, the director will not be so naive. Even if he wins a Solzhensky-like Nobel Prize, he brings nothing more than a mess to his country.
