gathered with childhood friends during the Spring Festival. After recalling what we experienced as children, we invariably talked about another topic, that is, childhood dreams. Everyone present was very excited when they mentioned this matter. Everyone clearly remembered the dream in their hearts: to be a doctor, to be an engineer, to become a boss, and to become a writer.

We all come from rural areas, with ordinary backgrounds and ordinary qualifications. These dreams that were once fulfilled, the wishes made more than 20 years ago, were somewhat exaggerated at that time. At the beginning, when we were sitting in a somewhat tattered classroom and writing essays titled "My Dream", we didn't know what the future would hold. We only knew that one day, we must realize it.

We are just like Rudy, the protagonist of the movie "Chasing Dreams", ordinary and inconspicuous, but we all have a big dream in our hearts. Rudy's dream is to play football at Notre Dame. My dream is to be a writer.

The movie "Chasing the Dream" is based on a real story. It tells a story about making progress: the protagonist Rudy grew up in an ordinary family and is the youngest of the brothers. The men in the family, including the father, are extremely passionate about football games. They are die-hard fans of the University of Notre Dame, and every game is broadcast on TV. Rudy is no exception. After he announced his intention to play on the University of Notre Dame at a family gathering, the whole family laughed at him for being over his head. Except for his friend Peter.

On the eve of high school graduation, Rudy was unable to apply to Notre Dame because of his poor grades. After graduating, he, like his brother Frank, went to work in the steel mill where the family worked. On his 22nd birthday, his friend Peter gave him a jacket with the words of Notre Dame and encouraged him to realize his dream. Peter died unexpectedly in an accident. Because of this accident, after leaving the funeral, Rudy made up his mind and set foot on the train to Notre Dame University.

With the help of a priest, he used his savings from working in a steel mill for four years to attend a College of the Holy Cross near the University of Notre Dame, and hopes to transfer to the University of Notre Dame with honors. At the same time, he found a handyman job with the Notre Dame football team at all costs. Because he had no money for accommodation, he secretly lived in the utility room.

In order to enter the University of Notre Dame, he studied and exercised very hard. After the first semester, except for one A, he was all B, but such grades were not enough for him to enter his ideal university. He kept studying hard, kept testing, applying, being rejected, applying again, and being rejected. In his almost desperate fourth semester, he finally got an acceptance letter from the University of Notre Dame. Entering the university does not mean joining the school team, but with his tenacious fighting spirit, he was selected by the coach into the school team's backup camp, but he has never had the opportunity to play.

In a blink of an eye, it was another 2 years. When he learned that the last game of his college career was still unable to make the roster, he angrily withdrew from the team. At this time, the black man who had helped him once again encouraged him to return to the team and not to disappoint his efforts. With the support of his teammates, he finally came off the bench at a crucial moment in an important game and helped the team win the game. Parents and family members who showed up at the scene were also excited.

Rudy was carried off the field by his teammates, and the movie says that no player has been carried off the field by his teammates since him. That's how the movie ended. I believe that everyone who watches this movie will be moved by Rudy's dream, will cry for his joy when he is admitted to Notre Dame University, and will definitely be happy for him to appear on the field. cheer.

When I look back on this film again, when I think of the little boy who keeps chasing dreams in the light and shadow, I also seem to see my childhood friends and myself. At first, when we wrote down our dreams, we were also laughed at by those around us. We were told not to think too much, there are some things you can't do. You live in a small place, and you don't have the chance to go too far. Just relax and stop thinking about it.

Like Rudy, we endured such "advice" and were fortunate to have each other's support. In the movie, little Rudy stood on the table, vividly imitating the words of encouragement that the coach said during the game at the University of Notre Dame, and his good friend Peter kept looking at him with trusting eyes. On Rudy's 22nd birthday, he was given a coat with the words of Notre Dame University and told him: "Dreams make people endure everything in life." This sentence gave young Rudy unlimited power. As my buddy once said to me: "You can definitely be a writer."

Rudy wears the coat that Peter gave him all the year round, and studies with his best efforts. While studying, he takes every opportunity to do chores at the University of Notre Dame stadium, hoping to appear here one day. In the players rest area, he once again passionately recounted the words that the coach had learned to encourage the players when he was a child. He remembers every player's name here, he knows every story about this team.

However, it is not enough to realize the dream. He had to study hard to get into Notre Dame, which was really hard for Rudy, who wasn't smart. He often reads in the library until twelve o'clock, and even reads while walking. Among other things, he has to train himself so that one day he can play. He told the priest that he no longer wanted to be told what he could and could not do. He has to decide for himself what to do.

However, the road to the dream is not straight. In a few years, Rudy tried his best to finally go to Notre Dame, but he could only serve as a sparring partner for the team because he was too small and had no athletic ability. He's been banged in the head again and again, but every time, he's putting in and working like a Super Bowl, like playing a real ball game with all his might.

When these scenes replayed in my mind and reappeared in front of my eyes, I was looking at Rudy, who has been striving and fighting hard on the road to dream. Also myself. When I aspired to be a writer, no one believed I could do it. So, when I was a kid, I was a kid without many friends, and I was often alone. Because of this, when no one is playing with me, I only read books by myself. Sitting on a small stool, reading book after book, no one knows that when I was in sixth grade, I had read many famous books.

Because of some literary background, I published a composition in a composition book in my first year of junior high school. People around me thought that the ordinary and weak me had no such ability at all, and they said it was just luck. Wanting to be a writer, my heart is higher than the sky, and my life is thinner than paper. There are also people who kindly persuade them to study hard and get high marks in the exam. Don't waste your time when it comes to being a writer. They said, "There must be someone who can be a writer, but it must not be you, because being a writer requires talent and talent." When I was young, in front of these words, I had an incomparable tangle. and struggle.

However, after being sad, I did not cut off my path. Yes, I have no talent, no talent. Then I only have to work hard, read more books, practice writing, start from writing a diary every day, and never change. I know that writing is something that takes a long time to learn, even a lifetime to learn. Therefore, I carefully observe people and things in life, ask people who can write articles humbly, read all the works of writers I like, and imitate their writing methods.

It took Rudy 8 years to go from an under-appreciated teenage boy to the court of Notre Dame University, realizing his dream. In this, I was attacked and rejected again and again. He used to cry in the dark and thought about leaving. However, in his heart, he never thought about giving up. His dreams have always been with him. It took me nearly 10 years to read nearly 1,000 books, write more than 20 diaries, and write hundreds of thousands of articles, including pain, helplessness, and depression. There are also articles that others have rejected and cry, but, like Rudy, I have never thought about not doing this. This dream has become a part of my life.

When Rudy wearing the No. 45 jersey was running on the field in the movie, I cried with excitement, crying for his dream came true, and crying for our shared dream of persevering. Crying at this time is a kind of relief, but also a kind of self-encouragement. My articles began to be seen by more and more people, and they began to appear in newspapers, magazines, online and in published books.

Rudy made his dream a reality through unremitting efforts. I know that my dream of becoming a writer still has a long way to go. Although I am still ordinary and ordinary, I am not afraid at all now. Because, I have always insisted on my own direction, and I will not listen to what others tell me what I can and cannot do, and I do not need to prove anything to others, but to constantly surpass myself. Hold on to your dreams and realize your dreams.

So moved! Even God will help you when you are working hard in your dreams! Rudy, who has no money, no cleverness, and no athletic talent, wants to enter a university that only accepts money, smart, or athletic talent. Everyone around him thinks it’s impossible, but he did it! ! This movie made me cry several times, all of which were moved and cried. The soundtrack is also great! Nice movie!

Inspirational films of true stories always make people feel that it is suitable for summer, and the vitality is endless. The end point of working hard for many years may be 27 seconds of soy sauce, but this process is definitely not a waste of time. It is never important to prove to others, what we want is to show ourselves to ourselves. Life is always full of meaning and tears.
