Beyond the Hills

The film is based on a reportage by journalist Tatiana Nicolescu Boone. The reportage tells the story of an old nun who died following an exorcism in 2005.
In the film, there are two protagonists, one is called Alina and the other is called Vecchia. They grew up in the same orphanage. After becoming an adult, Vecchia felt that the monastery was a refuge for her soul, so she became a nun; and Alina went to Germany. They haven't been in touch for a long time, but their fates are reconnected by an accident.
