Filling real loneliness with empty relationships

This is a movie about loneliness and empty love. Gay man Tom went to attend his boyfriend's funeral, was retained by his boyfriend's mother, and was finally trapped on the farm by his boyfriend's brother, and finally escaped. The boyfriend's mother lost her son and didn't know that his son was gay, so she tried to fill the emptiness in her heart after the death of her son with Tom's stay. My boyfriend's brother couldn't leave the farm because of his mother, but at the same time, he was homophobic and violent. He hated and abused Tom but needed Tom to fill the emptiness in his heart, the loneliness that no one talked about. As for Tom because he lost his boyfriend, he fell in love with the farm life while being abused by his brother on the farm, but unknowingly got used to the abused role, thinking that he could fill his heart with a false relationship, of course, he finally recognized it. relationship and finally escape. Director Dolan uses his gay mentality to add soul and possibilities to the film, a work of venting anger. When loneliness is the norm in life, people are most likely to seize the only companionship as all they have, and false relationships do not make us happy. Of course, after watching the movie, there are still a few questions, is the gay brother gay? Are dead comrades gay? Dolan's work is always so questionable. I like to insert a sharp blade full of sadness into your back when you are about to see liberation, leaving you under the haze forever, unable to escape
