I like it, it can have nothing to do with the plot

A very warm gay movie, I like it very much. Like, can have nothing to do with the plot. The scenes, music, shots, the foreshadowing of the characters' hearts, and the authenticity I feel when I watch the movie are all natural. In the dark, I feel that it is impossible to go further down; but in the daytime, I realize that the change is just one step, and then the sea and the sky will be vast. Love comes quickly and truly, but it is fragile, because it is a relationship that is difficult for society and family to accept. The male protagonist's inner withdrawal and final transformation are very real. Love that line of dialogue so much: Sean was surprised that Zack came back to him and asked him "what changed?", Zack answered without hesitation: "I did!" Only the change in his heart can be the real change. In fact, no matter what difficulties you imagined before, there will be a way to figure it out, as long as you take this step, as long as you change your own thinking and have the courage to accept it. In fact, the secular is not so serious to pursue it. Unlike "Lan Yu", this one has a happy ending, the beach, the surf, and the warm sunset. Good occasion. Looking forward to feeling as warm as them.

Shelter quotes

  • Shaun: [looking through Zach's art portfolio] Wow.

Zach: [trying to grab it away from him] Whoa! What're you doing?

Shaun: Easy, dude, it's OK. I want to look at it.

Zach: Nobody ever looks at that.

    Shaun: Wow. Is that Cody?

    Zach: Yeah.

    Shaun: Sad Cody.

    Zach: You could tell?

Shaun: Yeah, and how you darkened it around his head. This is incredible - and there's no toys in his room. Wow - awesome.

Zach: Yeah, he'd just gotten scolded. He was trying to understand why. So he came into my room. He hasn't left yet. It's the only place he could sleep.

  • Shaun: Where are you?

Zach: Gettin' warmer... colder... turn around. I'm so sorry.

    Shaun: You better be.

Zach: You sent in my application?

Shaun: Yeah... why're you here? What changed?

    Zach: I did.
