beautiful old movie

When watching this movie, even when I was facing the computer screen, I was amazed by the beautiful coastline, rocky cliffs, flowers blooming in the grass and the stormy waves in the wind and rain. How much shock does it bring to the senses? Especially since this is only a film made in 1970, I have to admire its photography. After reading it, I checked it out and it was indeed the best cinematography of the Oscars that year, absolutely well-deserved!
Secondly, the inner contradictions of the characters in the film are also vividly portrayed by several actors. It is easy for the audience to get into the play, and they will not get distracted or feel bored when watching this three-short film. With the development of the plot, the more interesting it becomes, the more it is integrated into it. At the end of the film, I couldn't help shedding tears in the scene before Charles and Rose got on the bus to leave the town. I was quite moved and mixed with emotions. I have to admire the actor's precise grasp of the sadness, entanglement, and heartache in the character's heart at this moment, but it is a kind of relief from the painful experience that happened in the past. As the car went away, as the priest and the demented Michael turned back towards the town, there was still reluctance and concern in their hearts.

We yearn for the love of Romeo and Juliet because they only appear on stage... If we were around, we would probably cut Juliet's hair and strip her clothes off...

In fact, I will give it 4 stars, but this is the most emotional film I have seen recently. There is no magnificent plot, but it has a very "novel sense". We all need a fresh start.
