What does it mean to do something with all your strength?

Watching this movie is full of self-blame and shame.
Especially when I see the meatboy makers talk about his day-to-day. He said that since production, he wakes up at 4 or 4:30 pm every day and goes to bed between 9 and 10 am the next morning. Almost crashed many times.
And the makers of FEZ went through more trouble, and when a reporter asked him what would happen to you if the game couldn't be finished after all, he said, I think I'm going to kill myself.
These are the true states of the creator.
I also have things I want to do well. But I was naive, stupid, and childish. For a while, I will consider the damage to my body caused by staying up late, and for a while I will think that too much effort will exceed the tolerance. Delusions of doing one thing well at the same time, but also the whole body retreat. This is so stupid.
All in all, I was moved by this movie.

Fortunately, both Braid and FEZ bought the original version, otherwise I would be embarrassed to death after watching this film.

I was moved to tears and played most of the games that appeared in the movie. Independent games, like music movies, can be selfish and tearful. Many people have misunderstandings about games, and many games are not to pass the time. Like every independent creator, it shares his love and life with the world.

Indie Game: The Movie quotes

  • Tommy Refenes: The things I've sacrificed are social. You kind of have to give up something to have something great.

  • Edmund McMillen: [in a Skype-call with Tommy before release day] I'll send out the press release, update the website, update my blog, update my Facebook, and call it a night... What are you going to do Tommy?

    [pause]

Tommy Refenes: Uhh... What happened? I just fell asleep.

    Edmund McMillen: Really?

Tommy Refenes: Yeah... uh... uh... What, what did you say?

    Edmund McMillen: [laughing] Um, nothing.
