Are we the same as Japan

It has been 20 years since World War II. The German soldiers in the concentration camps stated their crimes one by one and admitted their mistakes. After 20, it is no longer important whether to be sentenced or not. Although the country calls on itself to go astray, but a nation, wrong is wrong, and they do have the courage to face up to their mistakes. So Japan is shameful and Germany is great. But when we denounced Japan, did we ever think about whether the Red Guards who beat people to death during the Cultural Revolution should also come out and apologize. Otherwise, what is the difference between us and the Japanese invaders?
