After ten years of sharpening a sword, how about a few years to produce a well-received martial arts film? no. Even in 2010, "Sword Rain", produced by John Woo and co-directed with Su Zhaobin, had a bad reputation when it was released. It was rated as a bad film, and it was badly released in the same period, and directed by Tsui Hark, "Di Renjie: The Empire of Heaven". At that time, many martial arts fans concluded that John Woo did not understand martial arts as well as Tsui Hark. Actually? After that, many viewers said that they regretted missing "Jian Yu", and they could only say that it was a good movie after a few years, that's all. Back in 2000, when the martial arts film "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" directed by Ang Lee was released, it was criticized by many martial arts fans for not understanding martial arts, and it was a bad movie. Now, in 2016, after the release of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: The Sword of Qingming" directed by Yuan Heping, it continues to be said to be bad by martial arts fans, saying that it has regressed to the stage of Shaw Brothers movies. Is that true? The author almost walked into the theater with the perspective of going to see a bad movie. Now that I know it's a bad movie, the author still watched it, because the author is still a person with martial arts feelings.

In the past, people often asked: "Do you like Jin Yong or Gu Long?" I think not many people will ask again, this is no longer a fashionable topic, nor a topic that the public cares about. Today's so-called martial arts films are nothing more than ancient puppet dramas. Regardless of your chivalrous spirit, as long as you are handsome, you can pick up girls and make a base, you can look good, handsome and cute, and you can throw away the three views and morals. If it is said that Zhang Jizhong loves scenery and blowers, then the younger generation has already carried forward this art, that is, there are more fake flowers and fake grass.

In an era when I liked Jin Yong more than Gu Long, the name of Wang Dulu was obviously very unfamiliar, let alone now! Wang Dulu, one of the "Five Great Masters of the Northern School", is a writer of martial arts novels, and is respected by Gu Long, Jin Yong, Liang Yusheng, Wen Ruian and a group of martial arts novel writers. In their works, there are characters who pay tribute to Wang Dulu. . "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is the work of Wang Dulu.

The chronological order of the stories of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Golden Hairpin with Sword", "Sword Qi Pearl", "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", "Iron Riding Silver Bottle". "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2 Qingming Sword", also known as "Iron Riding Silver Bottle", was released in the mainland. The huge poster reads "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", which makes many viewers who like Ang Lee's version complain that there is no Ang Lee or Chow Yun-fat, how can it be called that? Indeed, Yu Xiulian, who left Michelle Yeoh behind, really has no one else. But, the protagonists of "Iron Cavalry Silver Bottle" are Chun Xue Ping and Han Tiefang! Their mother Yu Jiaolong and sister Zhang Ziyi may not want to upgrade to be a mother in the movie, so they can only find another unfamiliar face and take a graceful bath scene instead. Repeating the past once again, when Ang Lee's version of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" joined Yu Xiulian because Yu Jiaolong couldn't support a movie in the book, Yu Jiaolong's children couldn't support a movie and joined Yu Xiulian again.

If the two unfamiliar faces of the hero and heroine in the novel are used, it will not be able to attract the audience and support a commercial film. It is not difficult to see that the mixed-race female Liu Chengyu has the face of "Prince of Japan" and Chuan Guangbo, and Han Tiefang, played by Harry Shum, Jr Cen Yongkang, was renamed "Wei Fang" in the film, and the ABC-style speed hormones made it too late for the audience to digest. . Therefore, it is necessary to join the leading edge, so that Meng Sizhao and Yu Xiulian, who have been resurrected from the dead, will continue the leading edge. Maybe it was fate, maybe it was intentional. In 1993, Yuan Heping let "Wing Chun" and Liang Botao played by Donnie Yen together. After all, Li Mubai completely died in front of the audience.

According to the novel, the relationship among Yu Xiulian, Li Mubai and Meng Sizhao, Li Mubai fell in love with Yu Xiulian, the daughter of the escort, but Yu Xiulian was engaged to Meng Sizhao. Li Mubai searched around for Meng Sizhao for Yu Xiulian, and finally met Meng Sizhao who changed his name in the capital and became friends. In the battle of the rivers and lakes, Meng died of Li's wounds, and only then did Li know that he was Meng Sizhao. Watching the film again, Meng Sizhao, in order not to become an obstacle between Li and Yu, fell off a cliff to feign death and quit the love triangle in the confrontation with Dai Yanwang. Did he really quit? If you really retire, it will be 16 years if you retire. Please note that it was sixteen years after Li Mubai's death that Yu Jiaolong and Luo Xiaohu's children grew up. Why does it appear? Because the woman he loves deeply in his heart, Yu Xiulian, is in danger. Of course, this is the part that was criticized by the original book, but the author thinks that the adaptation is brilliant. Regarding their love story, why can't the relevant parties interpret it? The author will not discuss it in depth here for the time being, and leave it for another day. To put it simply, several emotional scenes of Yu Xiulian and Meng Sizhao were filmed with a forbearance beauty, tacit fireworks, and subtle artistic conception, like the moonlight shining on the world under the mist.

Just like writers of martial arts novels, martial arts stars are divided into genres and styles. The battle of netizens between Zhao Wenzhuo and Donnie Yen on Sina Weibo once refreshed the author's recognition of the audience. In fact, every artist can be true in the eyes of fans and scum in the eyes of opponents. The word objective becomes extremely ridiculous. Among the senses of a single-round martial artist, the author prefers Donnie Yen. As a veteran martial arts artist, Donnie Yen was indeed inferior to Jet Li's fluent and smooth performance back then, which made the audience pleasing to the eye. But in actual combat, it's not about how beautiful the game is. It is subjective only when viewing it for the audience. The two of them made progress through mutual learning and competition. Jet Li began to seek the strength of actual combat in the film, and Donnie Yen sought the beauty of the action in the film. Therefore, seeing Donnie Yen and Jet Li's official match was a blessing to the audience back then. Nowadays, only Donnie Yen can match Michelle Yeoh with the fingers of the wrench. The tacit understanding of the Baylor House to meet the enemy, the battle on the ice, and the final decisive battle with Dai Yan Wangren, etc., are neat and harmonious, which can be said to be the highlights of martial arts.

Dai Yanwang was killed by Meng Sizhao with a knife, and when he was dying, he spit out the proposition that "man controls the sword, or the sword controls the man", which is indeed an old saying. But that was the sword swap, Dai Yan Wang only wanted the sword in his heart and lost. Is this the highlight of martial arts films? In an instant, the proposition of all martial arts novels was briefly and concisely grasped. And Duanhunying kills the four "grassroots" who follow Meng Sizhao, which is really the choice of ordinary people for chivalry, and they sacrificed their lives for this. Meng Sizhao is in love for Yu Xiulian, and they are for chivalry, or a more grassroots interpretation of "morality"! Some so-called audiences who understand the spirit of chivalry, if this is defined as a rigid dogma, then the essence and the soul-broken warbler kill one of the four "grassroots" "Xiangxi Wuying Dart", they will save others by themselves: "For ten Two silver coins, is it worth your life?" A raccoon dog on a hill.

Ang Lee's "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" is a Zen-like river and lake, and this "Qingming Sword" is only a river and lake, and has no Zen. Is that true? Li Mubai said: "The ancient temple left a step for you to see your original heart." Buddhism is based on the heart, "if it is the original heart, it is the original liberation", so Yu Jiaolong finally flew and jumped into the cliff. Where is the Zen machine of "Qingming Baojian"? In Yu Xiulian's body, Li Mubai's point of view "Leaving one step for you is to see your true heart". She left behind the "Bane" Snow Bottle, and taught the Snow Bottle martial arts to the Wei side of the enemy faction. This way of crossing people and crossing themselves has ushered in a natural situation. Xue Ping and Wei Fang sided with Yu Xiulian when they were seeking their true heart, and the development of the situation inadvertently revealed a bit of Taoist leverage.

From the author's point of view, the biggest criticism of this film is the English dialogue, which does not match the mouth shape. The male protagonist of "Jian Yu", Zheng Yusheng, was a Korean. During the filming, the entire dialogue was in Mandarin, which was a catchy voice for the later dubbing. In addition, the production team is also from ABC, which makes this work feel blunt. But at least in the author's opinion, people are carefully drawing a fine brush painting stroke by stroke, while the martial arts films made by the Chinese people wantonly escape the gravity and go to outer space. This kind of so-called change and innovation is not worth it. Of course, this meticulous painting is "painted" for foreigners to see. Compared with Chinese, foreigners prefer to watch Chinese kung fu movies. I like Chinese people wearing sackcloth and linen, like sometimes beautiful and sometimes magnificent landscapes, like antique cities, like old-fashioned tones... When a group of people look at the promotional photos and accuse Donnie Yen of playing Meng Sizhao for not shaving his head, please watch it when the Qing Dynasty is restored. After the film, the accusation was made that Meng Sizhao had a Manchu style, he shaved his head, and only kept his hair after he escaped from the world.

Don't save others by yourself. Don't be restless, just calm down.
