Are you afraid that I won't love you anymore? Anna said yes

After watching Zulassky's 1981 film "The Enchanted", I can sum it up in two words: stunned. Shocked beyond measure. I have never seen a horror movie so crazy, deep into the bone marrow, and hysterical. If there is a goddess, Adjani will be the only one. She is the sum total of all the purity and debauchery in the world, the whole meaning of all the love and hurt in the world. Only she and Zulaski can accomplish what the movie is all about. If I had to find a topic for this movie, it would be this one.
Mark: Are you afraid I won't like you?
Anna: Yes.

The madness without boundaries is really incomprehensible. Adjani actually won so many best actresses with this film. In fact, a completely irrational lunatic is very good to play.

#3rd HIFF# Classic. It's really cool to see it on the big screen... It's amazing that this scale can pass the trial. Unexpectedly, Cthulhu can be both sexualized and politicized in Zhuowsky. The story of Cthulhu built on the edge of the Berlin Wall, plus the world war (nuclear war?) implied by sound and light at the end , is indeed a context that must be well discussed in Cold War-related texts. Isabelle Adjani still deserves her name after tossing herself for a Cannes Caesar double. Zhuowowski's movement shots, especially the panning and traversing, are extremely pressing, accurate and crazy.

Possession quotes

  • Mark: I've decided I don't want to see Bob. He's fucked up enough as it is without me playing Sunday Daddy.
