What we learned from Steve Jobs

A very inspiring movie, but I didn't feel like I was addicted to it. From the perspective of career planning, there are three points that inspire me a lot: First, it emphasizes the importance of life experience to creativity and innovation. The film depicts Jobs taking calligraphy lessons in college and traveling to India with his friend Daniel. Jobs believed that people should understand the culture, art and history of various countries, and a person can apply his life experience to other aspects, such as creating new products. There is a word in the Lotus Sutra called "gong is not donated", which means that the hard work and merit you put in will never be in vain, and will come back to you one day. Therefore, in the development of life, we should cherish every opportunity at the moment, do our best to do the things in front of us well, do better, and achieve the ultimate, and one day there will be rewards. The second is to emphasize the importance of passion to success. In the film, Jobs' entrepreneurial passion of "living is to change the world" has always inspired him to move forward. In 2005, Jobs said at Stanford University Commencement: "You have to find what you love. Work is going to be an important part of your life. The only thing that can satisfy yourself is doing what you think is great. Work. The only way to do a great job is to love what you do. If you haven't found a job you're interested in, keep looking. Don't stop, look for it with your heart and you'll find what you love the most What." Love is the driving force behind passion, and when we truly love a job and devote ourselves to it, the process itself is worth the price of admission, and the reward is just a surprise. I believe this must be a good revelation for those who are facing career confusion. Third, perfection is a strategy to elevate skills to talents. In the film, Jobs asks the company's employees, even if it's a small thing, we have to make it memorable. He also said that people have to do a lot of things in life. Now that they choose to do this thing, they must do it to perfection. In my opinion, perfection is not only a professional attitude, but also a strategy for skills to lead to talents. When we can ask ourselves to be perfect in a certain area, over time, it will become a talent in this area. Mobility also helps achieve success in other areas.
