I really wanted to watch it seriously, but after watching it for half an hour, I realized that this movie is actually very small. There are only a few main actors, and the scenes are relatively small and few. This is a small-budget movie with a little fright, ghosts, and suspense, composed of only a few people, a sister, a brother, a father, a daughter, and a doctor.
In order to engage in excavators, the sister and brother cheated money, cheated one girl after another, and killed them so that they could cheat the next girl, and there was incest between them. When she was cheating on her daughter, she was discovered by her father, her elder sister killed her father, and cheated her daughter to go home. After that, the doctor discovered the truth again. In the end, the younger brother was killed by the elder sister, the elder sister was frightened by the younger brother's ghost and was killed by the female, and the female went home with the doctor.

Crimson Peak quotes

  • [first lines]

Edith Cushing: [narrating] Ghosts are real. This much I know. The first time I saw one I was 10 years old. It was my mother's. Black cholera had taken her. So Father ordered a closed casket, asked me not to look. There were to be no parting kisses. No goodbyes. No last words. That is, until the night she came back.

  • Society Girl: It seems he's a baronet.

    Society Girl: What's a baronet?

Society Girl: Well, an aristocrat of some sort.

Edith Cushing: A man that feeds off land that others work for him. A parasite with a title.

Society Girl: This parasite is perfectly charming and a magnificent dancer. Although, that wouldn't concern you, would it, Edith, our very young Jane Austen?
