I thought it was a film in the form of a documentary, but I didn't expect to add a lot of plot and humor, 3D special effects were the icing on the cake, and there was basically no urine in the whole process.
Jon Cef's acting skills are good, which is completely different from the indecision of the male protagonist in "500 days of summer" before, showing a determined and down-to-earth character.
Many small details are worth pondering, such as the tightrope on the walk font, the little naughty woman who scratches her back while waiting for someone on the grass, and so on.
Needless to say, the 40-minute tightrope journey is so exciting. When he was about to walk back and forth, the audience in the back seat gritted their teeth and said: Neurotic! But I couldn't stop wanting to see the results.
Really, the dreamer is the sun, illuminating the people around you.
In the end, the Twin Towers slowly disappeared in the afterglow of the sunset. Is the director paying tribute to the old Twin Towers?

The Walk quotes

  • News Reporter: Why did you do this?

Philippe Petit: There is no "why." Just because. When I see a beautiful place to put my wire, I cannot resist.

News Reporter: [narrating] The story of my adventure was in the news all over the world. In France, when Papa Rudy heard of it, he was the happiest Papa Rudy in the world. And when Papa Rudy's angry, he's deadly angry. But when Papa Rudy's happy, his dogs get a double ration of food.

  • Jean-Pierre: You know Philippe, the Towers seem different. They're different now.

Barry Greenhouse: That's right. They're different because you walked up there. Every New Yorker I talk to now says they love these towers.

Annie: [looking up at the towers] Perhaps you brought them to life, Philippe - given them a soul.
