Ted rented Bobby's attic and hid in it all day, not knowing what he was tinkering with. He hired Bobby to read the newspaper for him for one cent a week. Mother told Bobby to stay away from this strange old man, but Bobby didn't take it seriously, because in Bobby, he found a long-lost happiness and trust, Ted not only gave him friendship, but also gave Bobby than a precious quality that is indispensable to a person's growth.
