"Sometimes when you're young, you have moments of such happiness, you think you're living in someplace magical, like Atlantis must have been? then we grow up and our hearts break into two."

82.20101212 want to see. Unlike expected, it is not suspenseful and thriller, but like a juvenile growth film. I don't like the structure very much. The memory part of the theme is not related to the adult part. I can't see how this precious memory affects him as an adult. Ted played by Hopkins is very charming, and the lines sound very flavorful, maybe not particularly breakthrough, but occasionally he seems to enjoy it. The little boy is also very good, and there are several things that are very touching. The growth of a little boy who lost his father, in fact, I think he is happy to meet Ted and Carol. I think the ending with Carol is a bit ridiculous. Although this kind of childhood good feelings only stayed at the time, it was a normal state, but the film was taken away for no reason and finally came back, I feel very uncomfortable. The relationship with the mother is incomprehensible, and it is not bad to say it, but he is so mean to his son. Is there such a person? If I really have a hard time forgiving her. I think the fantasy element of the film is a bit nondescript (not derogatory), maybe the psychic had a special historical significance at that time. When it comes to some famous books, the titles are a bit confusing. Their emotions are touching

  • Bobby: Ted, "my father never bought a drunk a drink". What does that mean exactly?

Ted: It means he was a good man, he was honest, and he never added to the troubles of the world. Okay? Good night.
