When I first saw the sexy girl on the poster, I also mistakenly thought that "Youth and Vigor" was a story similar to Sicily. Later, I hurried to watch it after hearing the recommendation of a friend with similar interests. . After watching it, I feel that it is a bit dark and humorous. The description object of the movie is not the naked woman occupying the main screen, but the two old people in the lower right corner.

Balinger is a conductor who does not love life. He is unmoved by the invitation of the royal family, and his life is desolate except for music. He believes that the moving part of music lies in the music itself, and refuses to give it to human emotions. In his view, music exists in nature, but emotions have always been exaggerated. He calmly accepts the fact that he is aging, but he can't help but miss his first love, miss his wife, miss the deceased gay man, and also pass by the young Miss World in his dream.

As an old friend of Ballinger for many years, Mick is a famous director who has created many classic images. In stark contrast to Ballinger, he is romantic and passionate. "I have made more than 20 films, but they are all dispensable. Only this one means a lot to me. This is my ultimate emotional, intellectual, and spiritual legacy." He told himself arrogantly. The screenwriters are looking forward to using a perfect curtain call to prove themselves. And his imagination was shattered when he heard old friends describe his work as appalling, terrible, and rubbish. When the screen images that he had created on the lawn reappeared and disappeared, he felt powerless and completed his last work in one leap.

The actor came to this resort hotel to try to figure out the role of Hitler. He was eager to break through his classic screen image-robot, but was always praised by fans inappropriately for this image. He thinks that Miss World is big and brainless, but he is pointed out his frustration; he has been unable to figure out how to play Hitler, but is told by the little girl that no one in the world is prepared in advance, so there is no need to worry. When the actor is no longer young, his focus is on breakthroughs, not the role itself; when he shaved his hair, immersed himself in the role, and stopped trying to figure it out, he suddenly understood how to act .

Maradona, who has retired, is fat, staggers, and breathes heavily. He watched children play football outside the window. When asked what he was thinking, he replied, "I'm thinking about the future."

The female massage technician was silent, but she was good at feeling with touch and expressing with dancing. "I have nothing to say," she explained.

This is a film that cannot be generalized. Compared with a film, it is more like a documentary to a certain extent. Because it is true and scattered, it cannot be generalized, and it cannot summarize a distinct theme. Some media criticized the film for not being appealing enough, and I think so too, but I don't think this is its shortcoming. It's calm, restrained, and truthful. Although it doesn't make people teary, it's extremely ironic. And if I had to say one thing about my feelings, it would be facing aging. Even if it has been difficult for the sea once, even if you have it and then lose it, it is even more cruel, but this does not constitute an excuse not to face it. It's not so scary to face it head on, but the obsession brought about by desperately holding on to it will lead people astray.

Most of the scenes in the film are taken from the foot of the Alps, the scenery is magnificent, and the composition is also exemplary.

Finally, the unavoidable confession soundtrack, my three favorite pieces of music, one is Florence and the Machine's You've got the love, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard it at the beginning of the movie; the other was the Simple Song by composer David Lang , there are two versions of my favorite, the natural voice when conducting on the lawn, and the singing version of the soprano Cao Xiumei; there is also a post-rock when the Lama ascended to heaven, Storm: Levez created by the Canadian post-rock group Godspeed Vos Skinny Fists Comme Antenna to Heaven, very suitable for the occasion, very suitable for ascending to the sky, and especially suitable for staying up late even if not ascending to the sky.

    Fred Ballinger: I know.

Lena Ballinger: What do you mean you know?
